Gorham Antique Sterling Silver Olive Server, Providence, RI, c. 1880s

A modernistic design of 12 balls creates a lovely, reflective handle surface. One end has a small fork and the other a pierced bowl, both of which are gilt on both sides.

This wonderful server is marked with Gorham's trademark and /STERLING/ 281.' It measures 10.75 inches long, weighs 1.75 troy ounces, and is in excellent condition with slight wear to the original gilding.
