A scene of waves crashing upon rocks creates a bold handle. The raised side of the bowl has a wavy edge framing the interior scene of fish swimming amongst the seaweed. The front of the dish is engraved with an 'HFS' monogram. We are selling this with a Wood & Hughes sardine serving fork in the 'Undine' pattern. It is a lovely server with an engraved sardine above the tines and is engraved on the back with a 'CGM' monogram.

This lovely dish and spoon are marked 'W&H/ STERLING.' The dish has the model number '246,' and the spoon is marked with the retailer 'M. SCOOLER' and also has French import marks. The dish measures just shy of 7.5 inches long. The total weight is 4.55 troy ounces, and they are in very good antique condition with light wear to the gilding in the dish.
