This version of the Lily-of-the-Valley pattern is very beautiful. It features three leaves, two of which act as backgrounds for Lily of the Valley sprouts. The unusually shaped blade has a matte finish with lovely, soft gilding. It is engraved with a scrolling scene of a foliate vine. The back of the handle is engraved with a 'B' initial.

This uncommon server is marked 'W&H/ STERLING' and by the retailer 'A.B. Griswold & Co'. it measures 10.25 inches long, weighs 2.60 troy ounces and is in excellent antique condition.
