Resting on four ball feet, this small dish is created as a crumpled napkin. Marvelous details are incorporated into this beautiful dish. The irregular shape is bordered with a faux fringed edge. Various chased, engraved, and acid-etched designs create the intricate interior, including wonderful aesthetic foliage on its flat interior and rising edges with a gilt border.

This lovely dish is marked 'W&H/ 191 A/ STERLING.' It measures 5 inches across at the midsections of the rim by 7.5 inches from corner to corner. It is 2 inches tall at the tops of the corners. This rare dish weighs 5.20 troy ounces and is in excellent antique condition.
