Whiting Ivy Pattern Antique Sterling Silver Serving Fork, NYC, c. 1870

This lovely serving fork is decorated with an ivy leaf above a mask flanked by two scrolls at the top of the handle. A reserve underneath the mask is engraved 'ECW.’ More ivy decorates the handle and the area above the tines is engraved with ivy decoration.

This antique server is marked with Whiting's trademark and 'STERLING/ PAT 1866' and by the Mobile, AL retailer 'E.O. ZADEK & Co.' It measures 7.75 inches long, weighs 1.60 troy ounces and is in very good antique condition.
