Stunning, honeycomb hammering throughout gives the surface a wonderful finish and reflective sparkle. Executed by Tiffany & Co., it is beautifully designed and constructed.
With a raised and scalloped edge, the flat top rests on a bulbous, undulating mid-section with an applied blackberry vine traveling around the stem. The leaves are chased for details and have buds of gold. The largest leaf is inlaid with copper accents. Two bunches of applied blackberries are made of copper. Completing the design of this section is a copper beetle inlaid with brass details. The slightly domed base rises from four feet with spreading tendrils and is ornamented with an applied bug and a small gold flower sprig.
Tiffany & Co. tazzas like this are extremely rare with mixed metals.

This exceptional tazza is marked underneath 'TIFFANY & CO/ 6091 MAKERS 6617/ STERLING-SILVER/ -AND-/OTHER METALS/ 1260/ M.' It measures 8.5 inches in diameter by just shy of 5.25 inches high, weighs 23.45 troy ounces and is in excellent antique condition.
