The 'Floral' pattern was unusual in that it incorporated various flowers for the handles. These charming spoons are designed on the fronts and backs with multiple leaves, stems, and flowers as handles. A complete set with all 12 examples is very uncommon and makes a wonderful display of American Art Nouveau silver.
A similar set identifying all the various flowers is pictured in Tiffany Silver Flatware by William Hood (p.266). Engraved on the back of the elongated, gilt bowls is a stylized 'MHW' monogram.
The backs of these rare antique silver spoons are stamped 'T.& CO./ STG.' They measure 4 inches long, weigh a combined 3.45 troy ounces and are in excellent antique condition.
