With deep 3-dimensional blackberries and vines, Tiffany's 'Blackberry' pattern is one of their greatest naturalistic flatware patterns from the turn of the 20th century and an excellent example of American art nouveau flatware. This delightful pattern was not made in a full line but only in select pieces. The bold design of blackberries and leaves is executed on the front and back at the top. Light gilding covers the interior and exterior of the fluted bowl.
This wonderful server is marked 'TIFFANY & CO/ MAKERS/ STERLING/ T.'and " It is 7.25 inches long, weighs 1.85 troy ounces, and is in very good antique condition with very light wear to the gilding.
