Tiffany and Co Antique Sterling Silver Vine Pattern Sugar Sifter, NYC, c. 1880s

This lovely server is in the multi-motif flatware line by Tiffany & Co. called 'Vine.' It is designed with a blackberry vine traveling along the length of the handle with some elements spreading onto the back. The front has a stippled background giving the pattern more contrast and depth, while the back is engraved 'MFC.' The fluted bowl is pierced along its edge, and the center is pierced with a complementary berry display. 

This wonderful pierced server is marked 'TIFFANY & Co/ STERLING/ M.' It measures 7 inches long, weighs 1.95 troy ounces and is in excellent antique condition.
