Tiffany and Co. Antique Sterling Silver Shakers, NYC, NY, c. 1880

These lovely salt & pepper shakers have barrel-shaped bodies with splayed feet and have an overall hammered surface. Detachable, domed covers have knob finials and circular piercings with the holes on one cover being slightly larger than the other. Engraved on the bodies is an 'AC' monogram.

These sweet shakers are marked underneath the bodies and also the covers 'TIFFANY & Co/ 6248 M 3699/ STERLING_SILVER. They measure 1.5 inches in diameter by 2.75 inches tall, weigh a combined 4.40 troy ounces, and are in excellent antique condition, and retain most of their original interior gilding.
