Tiffany & Co. Antique Sterling Silver Floral Picture Frame with Swans, NYC, NY, c. 1894

For that special picture, this stunning easel picture frame incorporates the Beaux-Arts style of lavish, ornate decoration. The body has stunning classical flora growing upwards and topped with elegant swan heads. The crest has a blank reserve that has never been engraved, flanked with flora and swirls, complementing the bottom and feet of the frame. The sterling easel, wood backing, and beveled glass are all original to the piece.

This lovely picture frame is marked 'TIFFANY & Co/ 12199 MAKERS 6610 STERLING SILVER 925-1000 T.' It measures 9.25 inches tall by 6 inches wide, weighs 10.30 troy ounces (frame only) and is in excellent antique condition with some replaced pins to hold the easel back and hidden chips to the original beveled glass edge.
