Theodore B. Starr Antique Sterling Silver Repousse Tea Caddy, NYC, c. 1900

This is a sweet, small tea caddy. The bulbous body is decorated with lovely repousse of various flowers and leaves against a stippled background. The removable cover is similarly decorated and has a ball finial. The underside is engraved with an 'AB' monogram.

This beautiful container is marked underneath 'THEODORE B. STARR/ STERLING/NEW YORK/ 910. It measures 3 inches wide by 3.5 inches high, weighs 3.35 troy ounces and is in very good antique condition.
