T. & J. Creswick Antique Sheffield Silver Plate Candlesticks - set of 4, Sheffield, c. 1830's


This is a lovely set of four antique Sheffield plate candlesticks from the famous firm of Thomas and James Creswick. The shaped, square bases are designed with lovely scrolling shell corners. This decorative element is used on the collars of the shaped columns and on the corners of the original detachable bobeches.

These elegant candlesticks are marked on the inside of each socle with Creswick's trade mark. They measure 11 inches high and are in very good antique condition with new felt padding on the bases.
