Stavre Gregor Panis Arts & Crafts Sterling Silver Floral Brooch, Falmouth, MA, c. 1950s

This lovely sterling brooch was made by Stavre Gregor Panis. Within the flower-shaped border is a wonderful display of flowers and leaves. The domed brooch was hand-pierced and engraved for details.

This piece comes from the collection of a marine biologist and his wife who summered on the Cape while he worked at The Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute. Most of the collection was purchased in the 1950s. They have descended in the family.

This wonderful bracelet is stamped 'SGP' within a triangle and 'STERLING.' The brooch measures 1.75 inches in diameter, weighs 10 grams and is in very good condition.
