Some of the most innovative silver designs came from the shop of George Shiebler. Louvre is one of those great designs with dramatic scrolling devices, a shell on the back and twist handles. Each spoon is monogrammed with a script 'FG'. on the front

The backs bear Shiebler's winged 'S' trademark, 'STERLING/PAT 89'. These stunning spoons measure just shy of 4.25 inches long, have a combined weight of 5.75 troy ounces and are in excellent antique condition retaining their original gilding to both sides of the bowls.
