Shiebler Antique Sterling Silver 'Bamboo' Creamer & Sugar, NYC, NY, c. 1880s

Naturalistic designs from Shiebler never disappoint. We've never seen this bamboo design before, and this creamer and sugar are lovely. Bamboo handles and knotted wood, paneled bodies, along with gilt interiors, create a wonderful design. 

This rare set is marked with Shiebler's trademark and 'STERLING' with the model number '38' on the sugar bowl. The sugar bowl measures 4 inches across the handles by 2.5 inches high, and the creamer measures 4.5 inches across the handle and spout by 3.25 inches high. They weigh a combined 7.55 troy ounces, have never been monogrammed, and are in excellent antique condition.
