Schulz and Fischer Antique Sterling Silver Soup Ladle, San Francisco, CA, c. 1880s

This is a large and stunning soup ladle. The long, hammered handle is very modern in its appearance. The deep bowl has a lovely gilt matte finish and is engraved with foliate scrollwork. The back of the handle is engraved with an artistic 'RC' monogram.

The back of the handle is marked 'SCHULZ & FISCHER/ STERLING. It measures 12.5 inches long, weighs 6.50 troy ounces and is in excellent antique condition.
