Pair of Wood & Hughes Basket-weave Sterling Silver Napkin Rings, NYC, NY, c. 1870

These barrel-form napkin rings are beautifully designed with wonderful trompe l'oeil basket-weave surfaces. Applied decorative ovals are engraved 'AG' on one and 'GW' on the other.

These lovely napkin rings are marked on the interior 'W&H/ 337/S.' They measure 1.75 inches in diameter by 1.75 inches long, weigh a combined 1.80 troy ounces, and are in very good antique condition.
