This stunning hand-blown vase is an unusual, hand-blown shape with stunning color. The flaring neck is primarily soft peach in color with the body being various hues of blue and purple. The spot decorations shimmer with various colors depending on the light. The overall surface of the glass has a lovely satin finish. Applied silver overlay is beautifully executed with wonderful art nouveau movement and large iris flowers with hand-chased details.

Although the glass is unsigned, glass of this design and quality are strongly attributed to the Austrian glass firm Loetz which operated from 1840-1940. The silver is marked with Alvin's trademark, the model number '106' and the silver purity of '999/1000'. It measures 6 inches high and is in excellent condition.
