This is a large and stunning punch ladle. A large, three-dimensional mask of a male is a magnificent casting adorned with leaves and scrolls. The expression is marvelous; he either needs some punch or had too much already. The double-lipped bowl is covered in beautiful gilding and engraved with an 'MAC' monogram incorporating an obelisk and a couple of egyptian heads.

This wonderful ladle is marked with the sterling standard '925' and by the Philadelphia retailer 'JE CALDWELL'. It measures 15.5 inches long, weighs 7.55 troy ounces and is in excellent antique condition.
