Gorham Virginiana Antique Sterling Silver Ice Serving Spoon, Providence, RI, c. 1910

"Virginia" is a heavy turn of the century pattern by Gorham with beautiful art nouveau poppy details.  This spoon is hand-pierced in the bowl between poppies that meander down from the handle. The handle is likewise decorated with poppies on both the front and back.  The reserve has never been monogrammed.

Measuring 8.75 inches long, it is marked with Gorham's trademark "STERLING" and "PAT. 1904."  It weighs 3.45 troy ounces and is in excellent antique condition.
