This large and rare ladle is quite stunning. It is made of heavy gauge silver and raised by hand. The beautiful bowl has a wavy shaped edge and two pouring spouts. The curved handle is lobed at the top and decorated with two incised lined which travel partway down the handle.
Engraved on the back is a lovely 'M.S.M' monogram. The grey shadows in the picture are from the camera reflecting on the hammered surface.
This wonderful ladle is marked with the early 'B09' mark and 'STERLING'. It measures 14 inches long, weighs 9.60 troy ounces and is in very good antique condition with some scratching from use.
