Falick Novick Arts & Crafts Sterling Silver Salad Set, Chicago, IL, c. 1930s

1 item left

These lovely examples of arts & crafts sterling silver flatware were made by the Chicago silversmith Falick Novick. This salad (or other foods) serving set includes a spoon and a fork with three tines and pierced bowl. Applied on the front handle of each is a lovely 'L' initial, in a style for which Novick was known. The initials are plain silver and show nicely against the exquisite hammering to the front and back sparkling surfaces.

These wonderful servers are marked underneath 'STERLING/ BY F. NOVICK/ HANDWROUGHT/ CHICAGO.' They measure 9.75 inches long, weigh a combined 4.45 troy ounces and are in excellent antique condition.
