After he apprenticed to famous Arts & Crafts master silversmith Arthur Stone, George Erickson operated his own shop in Gardner, Massachusetts. This long mixing spoon for pitchers is an elegant form. It has a smooth surface with hammering on the back of the bowl. The top of the handle is engraved 'MSM'.
This wonderful spoon is stamped 'ERICKSON/STERLING'. It measures 12.5 inches long, weighs 2.70 troy ounces and is in excellent antique condition.
