This lovely, cylindrical container is a beautiful example of Chinese silver. It features four scenes of engraved exotic foliage against a textured background. One scene also incorporates a female figure. The removable cover is decorated with a series of butterflies around a central Chinese symbol.

This lovely container is marked underneath 'SILVER 940'. It measures just shy of 2.75 inches in diameter by 3.75 inches high, weighs 4.35 troy ounces and is in very good antique condition.
