Alvin Water Lily Design Antique Sterling Silver Dish, Sag Harbor, NY, c. 1900

This small dish is quite striking. It is formed as a pond with a stunning lily in bloom as the handle. The art nouveau design with flowing border incorporates a couple buds around the edge. The textured interior resembles a large water lily leaf.

This lovely dish is marked with Alvin's trademarks along with 'STERLING/ 1036.' It measures 7.75 inches long by 6.5 inches wide by 1 inch high, weighs 4.85 troy ounces, and is in excellent antique condition.
