Whimsical and beautiful, this cheese scoop is a lovely design and apropos for a cheese scoop. Made from heavy gauge silver it features an unusual twist handle and wavy handle with a cat at the top. The front and back of the handle also has a matte finish. The back is engraved with a lovely 'EEW' monogram. Right above the gilt bowl is a mouse perched on a branch waiting to pounce on a piece of cheese. This lovely cheese scoop is marked with Whiting's trademark along with 'STERLING/ 3/ 32'. It measures 9 inches long, weighs 2.60 troy ounces, and is in excellent antique condition.
