Whiting Antique Sterling Silver Baby Face Spoon, NYC, 1903

This unusual child's spoon is an uncommon and lovely design. The art nouveau handle with dramatic swirls transforming into hair hanging into the bowl is quite lovely. The bowl is an impression of a child's face. The reverse side of the bowl is engraved 'Donald Dec 10, 1903'.

This fun spoon is marked with Whiting's trademark and 'STERLING/ 2969'. It measures 5.75 inches long, weighs 1.50 troy ounces and is in very good antique condition.
