Tiffany and Co. Antique Sterling Picture Frame with Pearls, NYC, NY, c. 1900

This exquisite easel picture frame is a stunning work of art. A wavy edge is elaborately decorated with flowing flora with pierced work. Fifteen freshwater pearls of various sizes and natural shapes are inset around the frame. A three-dimension, acid-etched 'WBD' monogram occupies the central reserve at the top.

This rare frame is marked 'TIFFANY & CO/ 14340 MAKERS 2652/ STERLING SILVER/ 925-1000/ T.' It measures 7.5 inches wide by 8.25 inches high, weighs 11.25 troy ounces, and is in excellent antique condition.
