George W. Webb (attr) American Coin Silver Serving Spoon, Baltimore, MD, c. 1850s

1 item left

Deeply chased foliage design to the bottom and top of the twist handle is quite lovely. A reserve is engraved with a script 'HAB' monogram. A scalloped bowl with wonderful fluting is lightly gilt on its front.

This multi-purpose server is only marked '10-15' within a rectangle. The only place I was able to find this mark says it was used by George Webb. (1) This server measures 9.25 inches long, weighs 2.05 troy ounces and is in very good antique condition with wear to the original gilding in the bowl.
