George Shiebler Aesthetic Movement Antique Sterling & Mixed Metal Napkin Ring, NYC, NY, c. 1880s

This lovely napkin ring is in the form of a leaf that's been shaped into a circle and secured with a needle. This realistic representation has the leaf with ruffled edges, an irregular, textured surface, veins, and a wonderful applied copper beetle.

This wonderful napkin ring is marked with Shiebler's trademark 'S' with wings and 'STERLING/ 254.' It measures 2.25 inches in diameter by 2 inches at its widest point, weighs 1.65 troy ounces, and is in excellent antique condition.
