George Sharp 'Morning Glory' Antique Sterling Preserve Spoon, Philadelphia, PA, c. 1860s
With a naturalistic handle designed with a reeded stem with leaves at the base and top, this spoon is a stunning aesthetic design. The shaped bowl has a matte finish and is beautifully gilded. The top has a beautiful morning glory in bloom against more leaves of exceptional detail.
This rare spoon is marked with George Sharp's trademark. It measures 7 inches long, weighs 1.10 troy ounces and is in excellent antique condition.
