A bold, scroll handle is ornamented with leaf design along its outer edges. The body has a shaped rim and elongated pouring spout. A crest of a collared wolf is engraved on one side. C-scroll feet terminate at both ends with wonderful shell design.

Peter Archambo was a famous Huguenot silversmith. This stunning sauce boat is by his son who, who was trained by his father, and nephew.

This stunning and early English sauce boat is fully hallmarked underneath. It measures 9 inches across the handle and spout by 4.25 inches wide by 4,75 inches high to the top of the handle, weighs an impressive 18.20 troy ounces and is in excellent antique condition.
