Within a shaped edge is a pierced display of seagulls flying in various directions. A hammered surface and lightly engraved details give this a lovely arts & crafts look.

Provenance:

This piece comes from the collection of a marine biologist and his wife who summered on the Cape while he worked at The Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute. Most of the collection was purchased in the 1950s. They have descended in the family.
