Harry Osaki Sterling Silver Salad Serving Fork and Spoon, Pasadena, CA c. 1960

Notify me when similar is available:

Boldly hammered with large planishing marks, this salad set was made by Harry Osaki.  Better know for his post-war modernist jewelry, Osaki made fine silver flatware also.  Osaki trained under the GI bill at USC and was a successful metalsmith working in southern California until his death in 1984.

These sterling silver servers are marked on the back 'OSAKI', HAND-WROUGHT' and 'STERLING'.  They measure 8.75 inches long, weigh 6.2 troy ounces and are in very good condition.
