Wang Hing Chinese Antique Silver Bowl, Hong Kong, China, c. 1900

This lovely, small bowl is beautifully executed with applied bamboo plants rising from an applied, plain, circular foot. These plants rise up in various directions overlapping each other creating an exotic display. Two birds are seen perched amongst the bamboo. The top rim has an applied ring of bamboo to decorate and strengthen the bowl.

This beautiful bowl is marked underneath 'WANG HING/ 90' and an ideogram, It measures just over 4.5 inches in diameter by just under 2.5 inches high, weighs 8.25 troy ounces, and is in very good antique condition.
