These salts are a very unusual triangular form in the rare "Homeric" line of holloware and flatware by George Shiebler from New York.

Various aesthetic movement ornamental elements are chased on a hammered background. Three different medallions are used on each, with one on each long side and the third on the curved handle.

Provenance: Private Collection.

These lovely salts are marked underneath with Shiebler's trademark 'S' with wings and 'STERLING/ 531'. They measure 3 inches long, weigh 3.95 troy ounces, and are in excellent antique condition.
