Set of 10 Durgin(attr) Antique Sterling Silver Cattail Tea/Coffee Spoons, Concord, NH, c. 1880s

These small spoons are lovely. The slightly curved handles are formed as a stem topped with a cattail. A silver tendril wraps around the lower part of the handle, joined to the lily-pad bowl. The bowls are wonderfully detailed and enhanced with gilding on their fronts and backs.

These wonderful spoons are marked 'STERLING/ PAT.APD.FOR.' They measure 4 inches long, have a combined weight of 3.45 troy ounces and are in excellent antique condition.
