Whiting (attr) Antique Sterling Silver 'Calla Lily' Pattern Pie Server, NYC, c. 1870's

This magnificent pie server is exceptional. The naturalistic top of a Calla Lily is beautiful with it's detailed leaves, opening flower and gilt stamen. The length of the handle consists of three rods of silver. 

The blade is stunning with its matte finish and parcel gilt decoration. 

It is engraved with a 'WG' monogram over a scene of engraved cattails.

This spectacular server is stamped 'STERLING' on the reverse. It measures 11 inches long, weighs 2.85 trou ounces and is in excellent antique condition.
