One of the rarest serving pieces in Tiffany's 'Chrysanthemum' pattern, this unusual serving fork has five shaped tines with a slightly scalloped bowl. An 'ES' monogram is engraved in the blank at the top of the handle which is covered on the front and back in dense flowing chrysanthemum foliage and flowers. Tiffany's 'Chrysanthemum' pattern is one of the greatest flatware patterns of all time. Designed by Charles Grosjean and introduced in 1880, it features deep casting of chrysanthemum blossoms in sweeping chrysanthemum foliage. The popular flatware pattern was made in a full line.

This rare server is marked 'TIFFANY & CO/ STERLING/ PAT 1880/ M'. It measures just over 9 inches long, weighs 3.70 troy ounces and is in excellent antique condition.
