This wonderful shoehorn was made by the firm of Shiebler whose unique designs never disappoint. This example features a 3-dimensional scene of a knight's armor hanging on two pole axes and a jousting pole. Engraved scrolls decorate the area above the flaring blade.

This lovely shoehorn is marked with Shiebler's trademark and 'STERLING/ 1652' and by the Philadelphia retailer 'JE CALDWELL & CO'. It measures 7 inches long, weighs 3.05 troy ounces, is in very good antique condition and is artistically monogrammed "CWD" on the back.
