Antique Sheffield Plate Candle Sticks, c. 1765 – set of 4

These candle sticks are very early examples of antique Sheffield silver plate. They are wonderfully designed with a square stepped plinth base. The tops of the bases are designed with swirling fluting which is repeated on the shoulders and original detachable bobeches. It is quite rare to find a set in this style from this early period in such good condition.

These lovely candle sticks are unmarked as was most antique Sheffield plate. They measure 11.5 inches high and are in very good antique condition with minor dinging around the bottom edges.
