Provenance:

This piece comes from the collection of a marine biologist and his wife who summered on the Cape while he worked at The Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute. Most of the collection was purchased in the 1950s. They have descended in the family.

This wonderful brooch is stamped 'SGP' within a triangle and 'STERLING.' It also bears the 'G' initial which Gladys used for her silver. It measures 2 inches wide, weighs 14 grams and is in very good condition.
