Dominick & Haff (attr.) Antique Sterling Silver Pearl Decor Bowl, New York City, c. 1885

1 item left
Magnificent pearling, a signature design motif by Charles Osborne, decorates the outward-turned rim of the bowl along with engraved swirls. These effective, raised bumps are also used to border the outer edges of the rim and applied ring base.

Although Charles Osborne never worked for Dominick & Haff, we have seen this style of work inspired by him on other Dominick & Haff pieces.

This lovely bowl is marked underneath by the New York retailer 'THEODORE B. STARR' along with a star and /STERLING/ 403.' It measures 10.25 inches in diameter by 3 inches tall, weighs 20.45 troy ounces, and is in very good antique condition with very light scratching to the interior from normal use.
