This lovely sterling porringer has a wonderful pierced keyhole handle. The body is hand-raised with a bulbous side and a slightly splayed top edge. It is engraved underneath 'Edwin Lodge Coleman/ April 21, 1926.'

David Carlson worked for Arthur Stone from 1909-19 and achieved Master Craftsman at the Society of Arts & Crafts in Boston and eventually ran his own shop.

This lovely porringer is marked 'DAVID CARLSON/ STERLING'. It measures 7.5 inches long across the handle by 1.5 inches high, weighs 6.20 troy ounces, has never been monogrammed and is in very good antique condition.
