Gorham Antique Coin Silver 'Bust' Pattern Fish Server, Providence, RI, c. 1867

One of the most impressive figural flatware designs from Gorham is 'Bust.' It features a cast bust of a figure atop a handle shaped as a pedestal. This figure of a woman is very stunning with her draping garment and hair adorned with ivy leaves and berries. The large blade is hand-engraved with classical design.

This rare server is marked with Gorham's trademark on the back of the handle. It measures 11.5 inches long, weighs 4.75 troy ounces and is in excellent antique condition with light scratching to the blade from use.
