La Pierre Sterling and Libby (attr.) Cut Glass Claret Jug or Decanter, Newark, NJ, c. 1900

This is a wonderful decanter with stunning glass. The removable glass stopper is mounted with a large sterling round flat top decorated in swirl designs with flowers. The slender neck is cut with vertical lines.The shaped body also incorporates various sized cut flowers and swirling stems throughout. The applied glass foot is lovely underneath with a large cut flower in bloom.

This beautiful decanter is marked on the stopper with La Pierre's trademark and 'STERLING. It measures 5.25 inches wide by 10.75 inches tall and is in excellent antique condition.
