This unusual server could be used for a myriad of foods and occasions. The flat blade with ruffled side edges may have originally been marketed as a tomato or buckwheat pancake server. It is engraved with a lovely 'JJG' monogram. The pattern is an intricate design of flowers and scrolls.

This wonderful server is marked with the Hamilton & Diesinger maker's mark and 'STERLING.' It measures 7 inches long, weighs 2.20 troy ounces and is in good antique condition with light wear.
