Alexander Keim Antique Coin Silver Ladle, Philadelphia, PA, c. 1850

This lovely ladle with a scalloped bowl is a rare example of silver made by Alexander Keim in Philadelphia. The curved handle is beautifully engine turned and engraved around a shield with an original 'SER' monogram.

This small soup ladle is marked 'A. KEIM.' It measures 9.75 inches long, weighs 2.30 troy ounces and is in excellent antique condition.
