These lovely 18th century candlesticks are beauticully cast and of great quality. Made from multiple parts, the sticks are decorated with scrolling leaves at the corners, as are the corners of the shaped bases and bobeches. The shaped main stems are complex castings of octagonal form with four of the sides being deep flutes. The bases are cast with beautifully proportioned lines, a stepped platform and bold foliate corners. All of the candlesticks are fully hallmarked underneath. All four socles are hallmarked with the makers mark and the lion passant and one socle doesn't appear to have been struck with the maker's mark. The removable bobeche are all marked with the lion passant and the maker's mark.

These lovely candlesticks measure 9.75 inches tall, weigh a combined 74.35 troy ounces and are in very good/ excellent antique condition.Sticks without candles
